苏联的药物化学专家氏在他的著作中曾写过:“目前药物化学的任务有二:第一个任务在于创造新的、更有效的、具有预期的性能和治疗作用的药物,也就是说期望能获得毒性最小疗效最大的药物。……”人类和疾病进行斗争已有悠久的历史。我们祖先在这方面已有了光辉的成就。不过到目前为止仍有许多疾病不能克服,如高血压和癌。有些疾病虽然有一些治疗的药物但仍不够理想,如血吸虫病、肺吸虫病等。这些都是我们目前应该积极努力的。
