吴前衡先生提出了这样一个理论假设,六十四卦的卦画不是传统易学逻辑演算的结果,而是整个易学的前提。也就是说,六十四卦的出现是最早的、原生性的。这样,六十四卦作为巫源性的法器符号,就既是科学的又是信仰的。在“前衡猜想”源于命运关怀以解读数字卦的前提下,对传统易学的学术路向和版本误置进行了反思,用“唯一确定性”形式系统的易学思想方法探讨了易学最简关系式及其相关的希望哲学问题。这样理解的易学既蕴涵着数理逻辑的形式理性和科学秉赋,又为人类的信仰自由问题提供了无限的可能方式,并将其谓之开放神学。
