教育源于生命的需要,而长期以来教育却遮蔽了这种本源性需求,而把教育的目的异化为知识、技能,这是一种本末倒置的做法。教育传授知识,但知识只具有工具价值,教育的目的在于用知识启迪智慧,将智慧融入生命,最终提升生命的意义。“知识若没有智慧烛照其中,即使再多,也只是外在的牵累;智慧若没有生命隐帅其间,那或可动人的智慧却也不过是飘忽不定的鬼火萤照”。
Education originates from the needs of life. For a long time, education has obscured this need of self-cultivation. However, it is an end-use practice to alienate the purpose of education into knowledge and skills. Education conveys knowledge, but knowledge only has instrumental value. The purpose of education is to enlighten wisdom with knowledge, integrate wisdom with life, and finally enhance the meaning of life. If there is no wisdom to illuminate the knowledge, even if it is added to it, it will only be an external exertion. If there is no wisdom in life, wisdom or moving wisdom is nothing more than erratic fireflies. "
