An immunologically active polysaccharide protein complex (PSPC) was obtained from the culture of Lobush tricholoma. The complex has a high antitumor activity and does not show direct toxicity. Transmission electron microscopy studies have shown that the anti-tumor mechanism of PSPC May be induced apoptosis of sarcoma S-1 80. Therefore, PSPC as a potential anti-tumor agent worth further study.
