美国摩根斯坦利证券公司近日出版的一份有关中国的研究报告指出,以目前中国证券市场的发展速度推算,到1995年时,中国市场的总市值将会超过香港。 这份报告指出,由于1992年4月B股市场开始建立后,至1993年9月3日止,上海和深圳B股数量已分别增至12种和18种,总市值达12亿美元,而期间上海A股则由14种增至74种,深圳A股由16种增至39种。A、B股合计的总市值达2883亿元
A recent Morgan Stanley Securities research report on China pointed out that with the current growth rate of China’s securities market projected, by 1995, the total market capitalization of the Chinese market will surpass that of Hong Kong. The report pointed out that as the B-share market started to establish in April 1992 and the number of B-shares in Shanghai and Shenzhen increased to 12 and 18 respectively by September 3, 1993, with a total market capitalization of 1.2 billion U.S. dollars, During the period, the number of A-shares in Shanghai increased from 14 to 74 while that of Shenzhen A-shares increased from 16 to 39. The total market capitalization of A shares and B shares reached 288.3 billion yuan
