Devoe Holbin公司研制出一种提金新方法,该法比碳浆法和麦瑞尔-克罗威(Merrill Crowe)沉淀法更经济,该法可应用于很多方面,最初直接用于污染控制和金的开采。该法模仿活性有机物从溶液中捕收金。DevoeHolbein公司的人造Vitrokele合成物由多孔物质组成,固体多孔物质由玻璃、聚葡萄糖、聚氨基甲酸酯、聚苯乙烯或其它材料制成,捕收金属的分子共价地粘附于人造合成物上。作业时,浸出的富液通过合成物,选择性地分离金离子,金从混合物浸出后,再以金属形式回收。具有高选择性和高负荷能力的合成物,用简单的方法再生,使生产费用比炭浆工艺低,耗电少。
