由 Lindell、Beninson、Sowby 和 Strohal 博士等国际上知名的辐射防护专家和国际原子能机构官员组成的国际原子能机构专家考察团应核工业部外事局国际机构处和中华医学会的邀请于1984年11月19日至12月2日访问了我国。考察团此行的主要目的是考察中国辐射防护的水平和需要,探索国际原子能机构与中国合作的可能性,这是自1984年1月1日中国正式加入国际原子能机构以来一个这类代表团访华,所以双方都对这次访问十分重视。
An IAEA expert delegation composed of internationally renowned radiation protection experts and IAEA officials such as Dr. Lindell, Beninson, Sowby and Dr. Strohal, at the invitation of the International Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Nuclear Industry and the Chinese Medical Association, 19 to December 2 visited China. The main purpose of the delegation's visit is to examine the level and needs of radiation protection in China and to explore the possibility of cooperation between the IAEA and China since the official visit to the International Atomic Energy Agency on January 1, 1984, by a delegation of such delegations China, so both parties attach great importance to this visit.
