甜菜雄性不育系杂交种杂种优势强,单位土地面积上糖产量高,目前已在世界各甜菜生产国广泛采用。根据欧洲共同体援华项目《甘肃甜菜开发》的要求,德国KWS公司给我方提供在德国生产上应用的甜菜雄性不育系杂交种,以鉴定它们在我省河西甜菜种植区的适应性和产、质量性状表现。通过三年四个试点的试验结果表明:参试11个雄性不育系杂交种普遍表现为块根产量杂种优势强,平均对照优势达27.1%,增产幅度为73.1%~1 .0%;含糖率显著低于对照,比工农二号平均降低糖度1.6度;糖产量的平均对照优势为15.3%。由于德国提供的杂交种历年平均含糖率仅为15.6%,如果应用
