我厂过去是单一的生产水泥的企业,中央提出全党全民大办工业之后,我们为了把我厂由单一的生产厂变为一个综合性的工厂,达到多种经营的目的,在党委的领导下,仅仅几个月的时间,我们就办起了煉焦、煉铁(先土后洋)煉钢、耐火材料、小立(?)、水泥、纸袋、红砖、水泥机电修造等卫星厂,还有一个地质勘探队和一个副业场。生产了耐火砖219吨,红砖50.9万块,水泥纸袋25万个,焦炭452吨,钢87.8吨,生铁274吨,探伤器11台,高压开关柜2个,低压变压器20台,5马力电动机2台,100瓩高压鼓风机2台,鑽床1台,3吨冲天炉1座,1吨和1.5吨转炉各1台,修造东风(?)一台,小时产量2吨的小型球磨机2台,13立方公尺高炉2座,土法煉焦(?)42个,洗煤机1座,土高炉8座,土法炼钢反射炉10个。副业方面有奶牛29头,羊1644只,猪1494头,鸡3474只,鸭256只,蜜蜂5箱。仅上述几个卫星厂的产品,就给国家创造了38万余元的财富。所以大办卫星厂是有很大意义的。但大办卫星厂并不是轻而易举的事,是有些困难和有许多问题要解决的,如办些什么厂,如何办,劳动力、技术力量和资金问题如何解决等。下面就介绍我们大办卫星厂的办法。

After the CPC Central Committee put forward the proposal that the whole party and the entire people should make a big deal of operation in the industry, in order to transform our factory from a single production plant into a comprehensive factory and achieve various business purposes, In just a few months, we set up satellites such as steel making, refractories, steelmaking, small setting (?), Cement, paper bags, red bricks, There is also a geological exploration team and a sideline. 219 tons of refractory bricks, 502,000 pieces of red bricks, 250,000 pieces of cement paper bags, 452 tons of coke, 87.8 tons of coke, 274 tons of pig iron, 11 flaw detectors, 2 high voltage switchgear, 20 low voltage transformers, 5 hp motor 2 units, 100 units of high-pressure blower 2 units, 1 unit of drilling machine, 1 unit of 3-ton cupola, 1 unit of 1-ton and 1.5-ton converter respectively, 2 sets of small ball mill with an annual output of 2 tons 2 m 3 m blast furnaces, 42 indigenous mills (?), 1 coal washing machine, 8 earth and blast furnaces and 10 indigenous steel-making reflex furnaces. There are 29 sideline cows, 1644 sheep, 1494 pigs, 3474 chickens, 256 ducks and 5 bees. Only the above satellite plant products, gave the country to create a 38 million yuan in wealth. So big satellite factory is of great significance. However, it is not a trivial matter to set up a large satellite factory. There are some difficulties and many problems to be solved.
