The international comparative literature has a distinct trend to the theorization in 1990s. Chinese comparative literature is different, it puts the emphasis on its practice rather than thebry. Nevertheless, if Chinese comparative literature will participate in international dialogues, it should have its own theoretic discourses.Morphological approach as the unique procedure and method of Chinese comparative literature study can prove the existence of comparative literature but it is not the mere possibility for the building of comparative literature methodology
