前不久,广西文艺界为著名的桂剧表演艺术家尹羲(筱金凤)从艺60周年举行了庆祝活动。提起尹羲,老桂剧观众无人不知。1936年尹羲就以《割发代首》和《虹霓关》这两出旦行重头戏一炮打响,被南华戏院的老板聘为台柱,跻身于桂剧四大名旦之列。抗日战争爆发之后,广西戏剧改进会会长、广西大学校长马君武博士举荐下,尹羲拜在与梅兰芳共享“北梅南欧”美誉的戏剧家欧阳予倩门下,主演《梁红玉》《木兰从军》和《桃花扇》等弘扬爱国主义的戏,在抗日军民中引起强烈反响。戏剧大师田汉观看《桃花扇》时,心情激动,即席赋诗赞尹羲:
