计红绪同志是河北省遵化县人,一九四○年出生,他从小就喜爱文学,读高中时就发表了一些诗歌。入大学后(专攻古典文学),二十岁时就写出了历史剧《辛弃疾》(后由长春电影制片厂译制片演员剧团排演为广播剧,由吉林等电台播出)。一九六三年,计红绪从吉林大学中文系毕业,分配到北京人民艺术剧院任编剧,后调八一电影制片厂任编剧。二十多年来,他孜孜不倦地创作出了不少作品,公开发表的就有:历史剧《辛弃疾》(上、下集)和《郑成功》(上、下集),电影文学剧本《千秋业》(一九七六年由上海电影制片厂拍摄成彩色故事片,未公映),《潜影》(一九八一年由广西电影制片厂拍摄成为彩色故事影片)、《春兰秋菊》(一九八二年由广 Comrade Ji Hongxu, a native of Zunhua County, Hebei Province, was born in 1940.
