国画大师张大千曾应张学良将军之请,为东北三大名山之一的医巫闾山泼墨挥毫,丹青传世.张学良对这一名山作了介绍:“医巫闾山,在辽宁省北镇县西数十里处,一名医无山,亦名闾山,俗呼广宁山,为阴山山脉之分支,松岭越大凌河而来者,绵亘二百余里,高拔四、五千尺,迤东低落为大小黑山等,高不过百尺.虞舜封十二山,以此为幽州之镇(周礼职方:东北曰幽州,其山镇日医无闾),隋以医巫闾为北镇,其山拥六重,亦名六山.上有仙人岩,镌有吕仙像;补天石,明张学颜书刻;仙女洗头盆,清高宗有刻诗(余幼时曾颂读,惜今已忘之).可怜松,在一片光石上,生一孤松,清高宗亦有题诗.产美名,尔雅称之为珣玕琪.有大庙,俗称北镇庙,供有舜妃、尧之娱娥二女,建有行宫,为清高宗避暑处也.”

A temple, commonly known as North Town Temple, for Shun Fei, Yao Entertainment E two women, built a palace for the Qing Gaozong summer office also.
