要重视学生的劳动教育,这确是当前教育工作中的一个重要原则问题,需要认真研究解决。“文革”前,我们学校十分重视向学生进行热爱劳动和劳动人民的教育,收到良好效果。但是,后来由于“左”的错误思想影响,有些说法和做法太过分。十年浩劫期间,林彪、“四人帮”又加以发展,以致造成了劳动代替德育、智育和体育的混乱局面,这些历史经验教训应当记取,不应重复。但是,我们拨乱反正,也要防止走入另一极端,放弃劳动教育。现在,有些学校由于忽视思想政治教育,放弃劳动教育,种种弊害已十分明显,应引起高度重视。如何既加强思想政治教育和劳动教育,又不降低文化科学教育和学生的健康水平,这只有通过全面贯彻党的教育方针,在实践中求得逐步解决。我们希望各地教育部门、各级学校认真总结这方面的经验。 Emphasis should be placed on students’ education in labor. This is indeed an important principle issue in current education and needs careful study and solution. Before the “Cultural Revolution”, our school attached great importance to educating students who love labor and the working people and received good results. However, some of the statements and practices were then overly influenced by the wrong thinking of the “leftist”. During the ten-year calamity, Lin Biao and the “Gang of Four” were developed so that the chaos of labor instead of moral education, intellectual education and sports was created. These historical lessons and lessons should be remembered and should not be repeated. However, we urge all parties to rectify the situation anyway. We must also prevent people from going to the other extreme and abandoning labor education. At present, due to the neglect of ideological and political education in some schools and the abandonment of labor education, the disadvantages of these schools have become clear and should be given high priority. How to strengthen ideological and political education as well as labor education without reducing the education of science and culture and the health of students can only be solved step by step through the full implementation of the party’s education policy. We hope that all education departments and schools at all levels will conscientiously sum up their experience in this regard.
