武汉市新城区进入加速发展期后,工业化和第三产业同步发展,城市物流加速,居民出行距离扩大,城市机动化水平迅速提高,对交通基础设施的要求与日俱增。但是,武汉市新城区的现有基础设施条件还不太完善,截至2011年底,武汉市六个新城区道路总长度942.4公里,道路总面积722.3万平方米,道路网密度为5.46公里/平方公里,人均道路面积7.2平方米,路网密度、路网指标和人均道路面积指标均处于较低水平。因此,研究武汉新型城镇化建设过程中的交通引导作用非常必要。
With the accelerated development of Wuhan’s new urban area, the industrialization and tertiary industry are developing simultaneously. Urban logistics are accelerating. Residents’ traveling distances are widened. The level of motorization in the cities is rapidly increasing. The demand for transportation infrastructure is increasing day by day. However, the existing infrastructure conditions in the new city of Wuhan are not yet perfect. By the end of 2011, the total length of roads in the six new urban areas of Wuhan has reached 942.4 kilometers with a total road area of 7,223,000 square meters and a density of 5.46 kilometers per square kilometer , The per capita road area of 7.2 square meters, road network density, road network indicators and per capita road area indicators are at a low level. Therefore, it is very necessary to study the traffic guidance in the process of new urbanization in Wuhan.
