电大的教师是电大教学的中坚力量,他们就是那些主持教学工作,编撰文字教材和制作音像教材,出试题以及担任具体教学辅导工作的教师了.这支队伍,成千上万,遍布全国,就是他们支撑着中国远距离教育的教学大厦.这支队伍的素质直接关系到电大教学的质量与声誉.远距离教育若没有一支优良的教师队伍,是不会有前途的.当然,这与建立远研的学科机构和专职研究队伍,并不矛盾.不然的话,也很难形成“金字塔”式的研究态势.
