达县实验小学始建于1905年,几经迁址于90年代初期建于现址。学校占地9520平方米,有教学楼两幢,有标准教室70余间,功能房13间.宽敞的多功能演播大厅。配备有电视系统、教学评估系统、远程教育系统、多媒体电子电教室,综合布线系统等八大系统的校园网。有标准的实验室、语音室、舞蹈室、音乐室、图书室、阅览室、电子备课室等,班班有29或34英寸电视机。学校配有先进的打印机、扫描仪、刻录机、电脑63台、摄像机、数码相机。有成套的各科备课软件、教学挂图,电教器材设备配套。学校及教师家里实现了宽带上网,办公室及教研组实现了办公自动化,配备了专用电脑。
