党的十四届四中全会,把党的建设提到新的伟大工程的高度,明确提出了实现这一新的伟大工程的奋斗目标,这就是:在当代世界风云变幻的条件下,在当代中国改革开放和现代化建设的伟大变革中,把党建设成为用建设有中国特色的社会主义理论武装起来、全心全意为人民服务、思想上政治上组织上完全巩固、能够经受住各种风险、始终走在时代前列的马克思主义政党。学习贯彻四中全会精神,就要认清新时期党的建设的目标和任务,深刻理解《决定》提出的新的伟大工程,从历史的继承发展和时代的现实需要
