十年来随着各项建设事业的飞跃发展,我省人民卫生保健工作在党中央和毛主席的英明正确领导下,在省委和各级党委的直接领导下,党的总路线的光辉照耀下,遵循着“预防为主,面向工农兵,团结中西医,卫生工作与群众运动相结合”的卫生工作原则,和各项卫生工作方针政策,特别是1958年的大跃进、人民公社的建立,使卫生工作获得了辉煌的成就。卫生保健工作的发展,正在消除着历代反动统治给我省人民遗留下来的疾病疫疠流行的恶果,改变着人民群众卫生面貌,在维护人民健康,促进社会主义建设的发展中发挥着它应有的作用。
