The mastery of the development of hypertension in the population is a necessary condition for preventing and treating this disease. According to all current data, research on this issue in various countries is still lacking. Larger scale investigations have been reported by R.C. Robinson and M.Brucer, B.Symonds et al. Before China’s liberation, according to F.W. Lowenstein’s, there were more than a dozen reports before 1937. A total of more than 20,000 people were investigated, most of whom were involved in life insurance, so the value of these materials was extremely limited. I responded to the party’s call for controlling hypertension.
