桩按其受力状态可分为垂直受荷桩与水平受荷桩两大类,而水平受荷桩又分两亚类,即主动桩与被动桩。前者是桩挤土,起因于桩头受有水平荷载;后者是土挤桩,起因于地面上不对称的大面积堆载(柱基桩) 或边坡土体下滑(抗滑桩)。目前,在上述三种桩中的垂直受荷桩已被人们研究得最透,水平受荷桩中的主动桩则次之,而被动桩研究得尤少。基于这种原因,在一般桩基设计规范中,前两种桩的计算方法得到了应有的反映,
Piles can be divided into two categories of vertical load piles and horizontal load piles according to their stress state, and horizontal load piles are divided into two subcategories: active piles and passive piles. The former is pile squeezing because of the horizontal load on the pile head; the latter is a soil squeezing pile due to asymmetrical large-area piles (pillar piles) on the ground or slippage of the slope soil (anti-slide piles). At present, the vertically loaded piles among the above three types of piles have been studied most thoroughly, and the active piles in the horizontally loaded piles are followed, while the passive piles have been studied very rarely. For this reason, in the general design specifications for pile foundations, the calculation methods for the first two types of piles have been properly reflected.
