美国中小学的科学课,是做中学(Learning by doing)的一门学问。我在美国学习交流期间,尽管没有完整地观摩一节科学课,但从学校展示出来的学生的科学成果,我能肯定的是:美国非常重视科学课,且效果好。科学课的内容很丰富,贴近学生生活实际,从认识生命的起源,到认知心理学等。学习方式是用科学而学科学,进而建构基础性科学知识,获得科学探究能力,并内化为自身稳定的科学素养。
Science in primary and secondary schools in the United States is a learning by doing. While I was studying communication in the United States, I could affirm that the scientific achievements of the students demonstrated from the school did not fully observe a science class. The United States attaches great importance to the science class and works well. The content of science class is very rich, close to the actual student life, from understanding the origin of life, to cognitive psychology. The way to learn is to use science and science to build basic scientific knowledge, acquire scientific inquiry skills, and internalize itself into a stable scientific quality.
