顾绣源于上海,享誉全国,在中国古代艺术群葩中绽放奇彩,令古今名人逸士为之倾倒。然而顾绣却是中国古代工艺研究的一项空白,相关著述甚少,与其历史地位不相匹配。值国务院列顾绣为非物质文化遗产保护项目暨上海博物馆建馆五十五周年,上海博物馆举办海上锦绣——顾绣珍品特展,展览汇集了上海博物馆、故宫博物院、辽宁省博物馆、南京博物院、南通博物苑、苏州博物馆收藏的顾绣珍品,并召开顾绣国际学术研讨会,对现存顾绣精品作全面的展示和研究,以增进世人对顾绣的了解。
Gu embroidery originated in Shanghai, renowned throughout the country, blooming in the ancient Chinese art wonderful, so that the ancient and modern celebrities Esau dumped. However, Gu embroidery is a blank in the study of ancient Chinese craft, with little related works and incompatible with its historical status. On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the project entitled “Protection of Non-material Cultural Heritage” organized by the State Council and the Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Museum holds the special exhibition “Guixiu Treasures” at Shanghai Museum, which includes Shanghai Museum, National Palace Museum, Liaoning Provincial Museum, Nanjing Museum , Nantong Museum, Suzhou Museum collection of Gu embroidery treasures, and held Gu Xiu international academic seminars on the existing Gu embroidery boutique for a comprehensive display and research to enhance the world’s understanding of Gu embroidery.
