北海市是1984年4月经国务院批准的进一步对外开放的全国14个沿海城市之一,现辖合浦县、海城区、银海区及铁山港区,总面积3337平方公里,其中市区957平方公里。1994年末全市总人口132.2万人,其中市区45.5万人。 基础设施情况 (一) 交通运输 北海市目前已形成立体交通格局,陆、海、空交通运输四通八达。 1.港口 北海市现拥有万吨级以上泊位4个;拥有5000吨级以下的中、小泊位16个。总投资2亿元人民币的北海市客运码头目前正在动工
Beihai City is one of the 14 coastal cities approved by the State Council in April 1984 for further opening to the outside world. It has jurisdiction over Hepu County, Haicheng District, Yinhai District and Tieshangang Port with a total area of 3,337 square kilometers, of which 957 square kilometers Km.
