Teaching aims and demands:
1.Knowledge Objects:

Target Language: What did you do last weekend? On Saturday morning I played tennis.
2.Ability Object: (1)Train students the ability of learning the new words. (2)Train students’ listening and speaking skills by past form.
3.Moral Object: Make students know to arrange meaningful weekends
Teaching Difficulties: Train students’ listening and speaking skills;
Learn to talk about recent past events using the key vocabulary and target language
Tasks: 1. Know the verb phrases of the past events in the pictures (1a)
2. Listening comprehension. (1b)
3. Can use “key vocabulary” to talking about past events (pair work)
4. Game time and group work.
Teaching steps:
Step1. Warming-up
1.listen an English song (I aim to arouse students’ interests and attract their attention).
T: Do you often listen to English song on weekend? S: No\ Yes.
T: What (else) do you usually do on weekends, then? S: I usually watch TV. ….
Step2. Presentation
1. T: You do lots of things on weekends. How is your weekend?
