但凡与我接触过的人,只要提到老师,我必定与其提起我的几何老师——胡国凡;但凡与我熟悉的人,我也必定与他们讲过我的几何老师。1988年秋,我们初中三年组新编了一个优等班,我在其中,就是从那个时候起,开始听胡老师的几何课。胡老师几何讲得好,大家都早有耳闻,所以他来上课,教室里总是显得格外安静。我们早就熟悉他抱着黄色三角板、圆规教具走在校园里的身影。胡老师中等身材,略瘦,背微驼,脸型不大,却不见皱纹,带点络腮胡须,谢了顶。几何毕竟是自然学科范畴,谢顶早在自然学科教师当中是很司空见惯的,胡老师就是个典型。
