The scientific concept of development is a concentrated expression of Marxist world outlook and methodology on development and an important guideline for our country’s economic and social development. It is also a major strategic concept that must be upheld and implemented in developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. In recent years, we have always insisted on guiding the work of the capital with a scientific outlook on development and successfully completed the historical mission of running a distinctive and high-level Olympic and Paralympic Games and achieved a sound and rapid economic and social development in the capital.
