如何做好教育工作、完成教育任务、达到教育目的,古今中外的教育家都有各自的见解。叶圣陶先生则一言以蔽之:“按照教育的道理做”,凡影响教育工作正常进行的说法和做法,叶老则批评为“不合乎教育的道理”。叶老所强调的“教育的道理”主要指的是什么?通过叶老关于教育工作的论述,我以为可以概括为“三全”,即:就实现教育目的而言,他强调全面发展;就组织教育力量而言,他强调全体参与;就实施教育手段而言,他强调全程训练。这全面发展、全体参与、全程训练的“三全”思想,就是叶老所说的“教育的道理”,能是叶老的教育总体观。
How to do a good job in education, accomplish the task of education, and achieve the goal of education? All educators at all times and in all countries have their own opinions. Mr. Ye Shengtao said in a nutshell: “According to the principles of education,” those who influence the normal conduct of education say and practice, Ye criticized as “non-educational truth.” What is the main point of the “truth of education” emphasized by Ye La? I think it can be summed up as “three completeness” through his discussion of educational work. That is, he emphasizes the all-round development in terms of realizing education. In organizing his education, he emphasized the participation of all; and in terms of implementing education, he emphasized full-time training. This “all-encompassing” thinking of all-round development, full participation and full training is what Ye Lao calls “the truth of education” and can be Ye Lao’s overall education philosophy.
