赵孟頫是元朝著名的书画家、书画理论家,在书法史、美术史上都占有重要地位和影响,由于赵孟頫身为宋代宗室,却在元代身居高官,因此,人们对赵孟頫本人行为的评价,也使其书画艺术遭受了不公允的评价。对赵孟頫的书画艺术评价历来不一,尤其在明代这种情况更为突出。本文是从明代人对赵孟頫书画艺术的各种代表性评价进行梳理,对其评价原因进行分析。
