RAID(Redundant Array of ldependent Disk,冗余独立磁盘阵列)是为提高性能和可靠性将数据和用于纠错的信息分别存放于两个或多个硬盘驱动器的一种数据存储方式。磁盘阵列由阵列管理软件和控制纠错的磁盘控制器管理。RAID技术通常用于网络服务器。 传统上,采用RAID技术的产品都比较昂贵。但是,随着计算机技术的普及,一些台式机(包括个人计算机和小型服务器)的用户也需要在他们的机器上运用RAID技术。
RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disk Arrays) is a type of data storage method in which data and error correcting information are separately stored on two or more hard disk drives to improve performance and reliability. The disk array is managed by the array management software and the disk controller that controls error correction. RAID technology is commonly used on web servers. Traditionally, products using RAID technology are more expensive. However, as the popularity of computer technology, some desktop users (including personal computers and small servers) also need to use RAID technology on their machines.
