When we interviewed the grassroots units, we heard quite a lot of reflections: Do not just think that part-time branch secretaries are difficult to handle. In fact, full-time party secretaries are more difficult to handle. Under the new situation, some comrades have shouldered the burden of administrative work and party work one by one, while some comrades still specialize in party work. Whether full-time or part-time, are the needs of the party’s work. Chen Guangwen, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Organization Department, said at last year’s organizing and working conference in the city that according to the characteristics of the industry, the nature of the work and the conditions of the cadres, we should not engage in “one size fits all.” Since the party needs some comrades to be full-time party branch secretaries, we should perform our duties in this post and develop, explore and make a difference in a positive manner. The new situation has indeed brought many new contradictions and new problems to the secretary of the full-time branch. Here, we are willing to work with everyone to study ways of resolving these contradictions and problems and introduce the experiences and experiences of some comrades to everyone. --editor
