WHO identified 2001 as the “Mental Health Year” and the theme of World Health Day on April 7, 2001, is “Mental Health: Elimination of Prejudice - Courage to Care”. Mental disorders such as various mental and psychological problems are a group of diseases that threaten the physical and mental health of human beings. About 17-22% of children and adolescents in the world are plagued by developmental, emotional, behavioral and academic problems. About one-third of adults at all times develop such mental health problems. Mental health problems are often manifested as loss of appetite or eating disorders, but also from a person’s eating habits change or manifestation of whether it is out of mental health problems. Therefore, the issue of dietary behavior and mental health are both complementary and should raise the issue of every family’s concern.
