Sinomenine (SIN) is an alkaloid extracted from roots and stems of Sinomenium acutum thunb et wils and is used clinically to treat rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Since the 1930s, scholars at home and abroad have carried out a series of researches on SIN, and separated twelve alkaloids dominated by strychnine. Preliminary screening confirmed its stability of the receptor, dopamine receptors, cortisol receptors; adrenaline α receptor, angiotensin Ⅱ receptor have a more significant role; with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antihypertensive and central inhibitory effect . This article reviews the effects of SIN on the heart and reperfusion arrhythmias. First, the study of the role of the heart 1. The impact of myocardial contractility and heart rate in vitro
