《辞赋标义》是俞王言对万历时期广为传播的《文选纂注》进行删削注疏、增补篇目而成的赋体总集。是编上继元人祝尧“祖骚宗汉”的赋学观,以《楚辞》置首,选录先秦至六朝时期赋作97篇,影响至同时及后人的赋集编纂。在评点辞赋时,俞王言时时贯穿释道精神,旨在探求赋家本心、赋作情志,是晚明禅释盛行之风对赋体乃至科举取士教科书的渗透与影响;同时是中国赋学批评在明代的新变与显著特征。
