The few pieces of artwork presented in this issue are from French and Canadian artists respectively. Proussoot (cover) is a portrait of the French artist Jacques-Emile Blanche (1861-1942), written by writer Max Proust. Proust was only twenty years old, and since then he has hung the portrait in the living room in his home. Jacques - Emile Brown is the famous psychiatrist Antoine Blanche’s son, specializing in Paris and London celebrities portrait for the intellectual and literary world, was a well-known portrait painter.
