前记:50年代初期,我和梅阡同志在北京人艺共事,他做导演,我在演出处做专职舞台监督。因此我有机会看到每出戏怎样由文学本,变成为艺术形象的全过程,多少次共同渡过创作的难关;也有机会看到大幕揭开,观众的微笑和掌声雷动,共同享受成功的喜悦。在老同志中,梅阡留给我的印象深刻,有如忠厚长者,诫挚可亲,对他的艺术创作,也感到情丝脉脉,动人心魄。这里所记,仅从依稀往事中,摘取片段,欣赏分析,作为我们合作一程的留念,相互、慰藉。
Foreword: In the early 1950s, Comrade Mei Qian and I worked together in Peking, where he was a director and I performed full-time stage supervision at the performance. So I have the opportunity to see how each play from the literary version into an artistic image of the whole process, how many times through the creative difficulties; also have the opportunity to see the curtain opened, the audience smile and thunderous applause to enjoy together The joy of success. Among the old comrades, Muqian left me deep impression, like a loyal elder, admonishing his dearest, and feeling passionate about his artistic creation. What we have in mind here is that we only take fragments from vague events and admire and analyze them as souvenirs, mutual visits and mutual consolations of our one-way cooperation.
