Chairman Mao often teaches us that we must grasp the major contradictions in the study of anything. The key to the standard research is what kind of signal is used to transmit color information, and the different signals of the standard are also different. The quality of a standard depends on the performance of the signal and its decoding method. Therefore, on the basis of testing three schemes, we analyzed and compared the signals of several major systems at home and abroad, especially the PAL signal and the Secam signal. In PAL system, the two color difference signals U and V are quadrature balanced AM with phase inversion. The chrominance signal can be expressed as Usin
