李学勤1933年生于北京,读书于清华大学哲学系。1952至1953年在中国科学院考古研究所参加编著《殷虚文字缀合》。1954年起到中国科学院历史研究所(后属中国社会科学院),曾任所长。现为全国政协委员,国务院学位委员会委员,中国社会科学院学术委员会委员,古代文明研究中心主任,清华大学思想文化研究所、国际汉学研究所所长,多所院校兼职教授,“夏商周断代工程”专家组组长、首席科学家,中国先秦史学会理事长
Li Xueqin Born in Beijing in 1933, studied at the Philosophy Department of Tsinghua University. From 1952 to 1953 at the Institute of Archeology, Chinese Academy of Sciences participated in editing “Yin virtual text Conjunction.” In 1954 to the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of History (later the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences), former director. Now a member of the CPPCC National Committee, Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, Academic Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, director of the Center for ancient civilizations, Tsinghua University Institute of thought and culture, Institute of International Sinology, part-time professor of many colleges and universities, “Xia Shang Zhou Chronology ”Expert Group Leader, Chief Scientist, China Qin history society chairman
