素有“半城山半城水”美誉的芜湖,拥江、揽山、抱湖,是一处饱受自然眷顾的灵秀之地。近年来,芜湖经济发展动力澎湃,社会事业进步显著,尤其是金山银山与青山绿水兼得的绿色发展理念凸显,成为芜湖经济社会实现可持续发展的内在支撑。2012年2月,芜湖成功跻身国家住房和城乡建设部命名的“2011年国家园林城市”。
Known as “Mid-levels half-city water ” reputation of Wuhu, Yongjiang, Laoshan, hold lake, is a well-received natural attraction of the land. In recent years, Wuhu has surging economic development and remarkable progress in social undertakings. In particular, the green development concept of combining both Jinshan’s Yingshan Mountain and the green mountains and rivers has become prominent and has become the inherent support for the sustainable economic and social development in Wuhu. In February 2012, Wuhu successfully ranked among the “National Garden City of 2011” named by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China.
