2004年11月3日到6日,首届中国-东盟博览会在中国广西壮族自治区首府南宁市开幕,本届博览会是中国与东盟共同主办的以加快中国-东盟自由贸易区建设为主题的盛会。 “共享合作与发展机遇”的宗旨,使本次盛会成为亚洲发展的一个崭新开端。东亚、东南亚的合作开创了整个亚洲范围内最有活力、前景最好的合作进程,2010年前全面建成的世界第三大自由贸易区——中国-东盟自由贸易区,将成为全球供应链中最有活力和竞争力的组成部分,为提高亚洲各国应对全球化挑战能力和地区经济发展提供新的动力。
From November 3 to November 4, 2004, the first China-ASEAN Expo was opened in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China.
