本文对H省五个城市的五类人群,就英语导游人员应具备的职业能力及综合素质进行问卷调查。调查结果显示:外国游客、旅行社管理人员对英语导游人员应具备职业能力和综合素质要求与英语导游员、高校教师与学生的理解存在很大差别,有些甚至得出相反的结论。因此,建议教学管理人员及高校教师在制定外语职业能力评价标准时注意这些差异,以便制定出科学、客观、合理的外语职业能力评价标准,为旅游行业企业培养更符合社会需求的人才。 This paper conducts a questionnaire survey on five categories of people in five cities of H Province on the professional abilities and comprehensive qualities that English speaking tour guides should possess. The survey results show that there is a big difference between the foreign tourists and the managers of travel agencies in terms of professional ability and overall quality of English tour guides, as well as the understanding of English tour guides, college teachers and students, and some even come to opposite conclusions. Therefore, it is suggested that teaching administrators and college teachers should pay attention to these differences when formulating evaluation standards for foreign language occupational competence in order to formulate a scientific, objective and reasonable evaluation standard for occupational competence of foreign languages, and to train more talents in the tourism industry to better meet the needs of the society.
