随着医学的不断发展,传统的心肺死亡不再是界定死亡最科学的标准,脑死亡应运而生。脑死亡标准的确立,为扩大器官来源提供了一种可能的选择,但绝不像所想象那种解决器官移植供体短缺的问题,脑死亡标准的意义在于确立一种更为可续的死亡观念,为公民提供一种自由选择的法律保障。
