不速之客来访 余光中,这位雄踞于台湾诗坛,乃至被颜元叔教授称之为“中国现代诗坛祭酒”的作家,一直是飘扬在我心中一面新诗现代化的旗帜。我已在香港、大陆和他一起开过两次会,这次到台湾作学术访问,又再度激起拜见他的念头。 命运之神终于给我作了巧妙的安排。余光中先生1995年8月31日从美国回来,我在台湾《新诗学报》总编辑刘菲先生的鼓动和建议下,便毅然改变9月1日飞香港回中文大学的行程,于8月31日连夜乘台北——高雄的火车,去看望余光中教授。
Unaccompanied visitors Yu Guangzhong, the writer who is ranked in Taiwan’s poetry circles and even described by Professor Yan-Shu Yan as “the poet of modern Chinese poetry,” has always been the banner of modern poetry flying in my heart. I have been in Hong Kong and the mainland has held two meetings with him. This academic visit to Taiwan has once again aroused my thoughts of meeting him. God of destiny finally made a clever arrangement for me. After returning from the United States on August 31, 1995, Yu Guangzhong, with the encouragement and advice of Mr. Liu Fei, editor-in-chief of Taiwan’s New Poetry Journal, resolutely changed her journey to return to Chinese University on September 1, flying to Hong Kong on August 31 Night by Taipei - Kaohsiung train to visit Professor Yu Guangzhong.
