The book “The Process and Evaluation of the Studies of Modern and Contemporary Chinese History abroad” is a historical review of the research done by the author Zhang Jinhong on the research of foreign modern and contemporary Chinese history in the past half century and an analysis of its achievements. The book mainly contains the author’s comments on the research status of modern Chinese history outside the country since the 1960s, and brings together the related discourse into a book, clearly presenting the development of the study of modern and contemporary Chinese history abroad, as well as the author Continuously truth-seeking academic history. The purpose of this book is to use the historical materialism to make a historical survey and achievement evaluation of the research on foreign modern history and strive to clarify the development of its research school of thought.
