不少的求职者自身素质是不错的,但求职时屡遭失败,很大程度上与准备不充分,不了解用人单位的招聘意图有关,因此,所谓心理换位,即为俗话所说的“要想公道,打个颠倒”,即从用人单位或面试考官的角度出发,对面试问题进行思考并回答,亦即投其所好。这种回答问题的思考方式改变了通常的以已为本位,以自己利益为衡量标准的思考方式,而是尽最大可能把用人单位的所思、所想、所需置于前列,适应了用人单位,尤其是面试考官的心理需要,故求职更容易被接受。
