In 1970, GAAA Aluminum Company of France proposed using a gas treatment device to process aluminum melt, which can be processed directly without leaving the furnace at the outlet of the melting furnace. Figures 1 and 2 show similar configurations of such a device. The aluminum melt 1 is injected into the pipe 2 connected to the pipe 3 of the electromagnetic pump 4. The tube 3 is made of a ceramic refractory having a certain porosity, such as Al O 3 or ZrO. The upper end of the tube 3 is connected to the outflow conduit 5 and the other end of the conduit 5 to the crucible 6. The pipe 3 is fitted with a metal pipe 7 from which gas to be processed is introduced into the metal pipe 7. The aluminum melt is pumped into the crucible 6 using a solenoid pump.
