世界各国在经济高速增长的时期都有国民素质和经济发展不相称的情况,这种现象比较普遍。有些规则,需要与崛起大国的磨合来改变。今天的中国人对日常行为规范的要求正在提高,尤其是对他者。不文明的行为受到前所未有的关注和指责。著名学者、北京大学中文系张颐武教授接受《南风窗》专访时认为,这是社会中产阶级化的结果之一。中国的国家地位需要一个新的国民形象,而结构发生变化的社会也需要新的人与人之间的相处规则。
All countries in the world have the incommensurability of their national qualities and their economic development during the period of rapid economic growth. This is a common phenomenon. Some rules need to be changed in conjunction with the rise of a rising power. Today’s Chinese are demanding more for their code of everyday conduct, especially for the other. Uncivilized behavior has received unprecedented attention and accusations. Renowned scholar, professor Zhang Yiwu of Chinese Department of Peking University, accepted an interview with “South Wind Window” that this is one of the outcomes of the social bourgeoisie. China’s national status needs a new national image, and a society where the structure is changing also needs new rules of interpersonal relations.
