英语存在句作为世界上所有语言普遍存在的语言现象,一直受到了语言学家们的广泛关注。笔者发现有些英语存在句不能反义疑或者不能出现在含有命题态度动词的复合句里,本文拟从试图从哲学的角度探讨这些语法现象进行阐释。
English existential sentences, as the ubiquitous linguistic phenomenon in all the languages of the world, have drawn the attention of linguists all the time. The author finds that some English existential sentences can not be antisense or can not appear in compound sentences that contain propositional attitude verbs. This paper intends to explain these grammatical phenomena from the perspective of philosophy.
