Continuous refining of copper by the West Germany Humboldt Industrial Equipment Company (hereinafter referred to as HCCR method) is a fixed reverberatory furnace with three puddles that allows the molten copper to be refined to flow countercurrent to the furnace atmosphere. The refining operation is carried out under a top-blown reaction gas. The results of laboratory and semi-industrial tests make it possible to calculate an HCCR process plant. In this paper, the smelting effect, production cost and investment of continuous operation equipment are calculated and compared with the corresponding data of the traditional equipment such as the short drum rotary furnace, the fixed reflection furnace and the top blowing converter. This article does not address the theoretical summary published in other documents.
