语义研究对翻译活动中的文本意义理解具有重要的意义。传统语义学研究倾向于孤立地研究词语的意义而忽略了语义现象之间的联系,语境语义研究通过分析词与词之间的关系以及词语与外部世界的关系有助于辨析词语的言内与言外意义。本文借助语境因素中的情景语境与文化语境,分析《红楼梦》译本中称谓语的翻译,说明语境对意义的制约作用及语境研究对语义研究的推动作用。
Semantic research is of great significance to the understanding of text meaning in translation activities. Traditional semantic studies tend to study the meaning of words in isolation while neglecting the connection between semantic phenomena.
